WhatTF is the Mother the Mother Retreat?

 

Essentially, it’s a playdate for mamas. 

It’s a virtual retreat FOR mothers, hosted and facilitated BY mothers.

We’ve handpicked our favorite mamas to help us mother our bodies, our minds, our voices, and our wildest dreams over the course of 5/6 days (depending on timeTFzone). 

We will create space, breathe, connect, reflect, move, stretch, go inward, go outward, share with each other, and possibly swear (for emphasis only).

Yang Yin with your Hostesses
Come and heal all the feels. 60 mins of collective healing movement. First we dance. Then we yin yoga. Expect sweat, blood, & tears (minus the blood, plus lots of belly deep laughter). You will need the volume turned up loud (for dancing), a mat, and a pillow (for yin).

Day 3 - MOTHER YOUR MIND

Let’s chat about the concept of ‘Motherwhelmed’ (the title of Beth’s latest book)- what the modern day mother is expected to juggle at the moment. All on her own when she actually would need an army. No wonder there is this overwhelming sense of inadequacy. Let’s rethink, reconsider, reconceive, reimagine how we can re-ignite our Soul Fire by being a village to ourselves and others.

How long will the sessions be?
As our hostess Angeli says, “end times are sexy” so we promise to keep everything sexy and between 40-60 mins max.

How do I join? Will there be a code?
Yes, once you register you will receive 1 zoom code. No password. No headaches. We will meet in the same zoom room for every session. Easy peasy.

What if I can’t join everything?
No problem, everything will be recorded via Zoom and streamed live on our secret Facebook group page and available for you to watch whenever you want for 1 week after the retreat is over.

Unlike most virtual events, why are there so few things on the schedule?
Our vision was to keep shit simple. Our intention is for you to feel delight (the-light), not FOMO.

I can join on Thursday, but only for a little bit. Is that ok?
Absolutely, feel free to french enter and french fade (quote termed by Robin Von Schneider) as you please. We understand, we’re mothers too.

Can I log in and keep my screen off while I am in the heart of mothering my small crazies?
Absolutely!!! In fact, we dare you to.

What do I need to bring?
Headphones, an open mind, and a healthy sense of humor.

What should I do from now until then?
We suggest that you practice swearing a little. Swearing marks adult-mama-time. We are watching our words around our little ones most of the time. So this will be a space to freely use the fuck out of that colorful language.
